I get "Plug in your CM device to get started" from Cooler Master's software and Device Manager has a listing with a yellow exclamation mark titled "Unknown USB Device (Device Description Request Failed)" under the 'Universal Serial Bus controllers' section. However, when I hook up the USB cable from the fan to the USB port, it doesn't work.
I 150% want to use it through the Cooler Master software using the USB cable because RGB Fusion is extremely limited in my opinion. Disregarding the fan cable, there are two cables that it came with an RBG cable, which allows me to control it through my mobo hub (Gigabyte - RGB Fusion 2.0), and a USB cable, which lets me to control it through the Cooler Master software. I have an AMD Ryzen 3700x that is defaulted to a rainbow color scheme, but I want to change it to orange and black to match my build. Hey everyone! I just finished building my first PC (so excited, woo), but I have run into a problem with the RGB on my CPU cooler.
